Creating awareness and spreading knowledge is the tool which will help people obtain a better understanding. During the Suwasisu Awareness program and Spot Health Checkup held at the Welisara Karunarathna Maha Vidyalaya on the 19th of February, we spoke about the COVID_19 outbreak, with distribution of various materials regarding it, along with conducting a spot health checkup for the teachers who were in attendance, where they were screened for non-communicable diseases, by carrying out weight, height and BMI measurements, testing Random Blood Sugar, as well as distribution of medication in the presence of medical officers.
