We believe that healthy communities can uplift the nation in more ways than one. The Suwadana spot health checkup held at the St. Mary’s church in Negombo, organized by the team at Hemas Wattala on the 19th of January 2020, was indeed a success with more than 350 participants being involved and being screened for non-communicable diseases by carrying out weight, height and BMI measurements, testing Random Blood Sugar, as well as distribution of medication in the presence of medical officers.
