"DengueEpa" Dengue awareness programme: "Dengue Epa" means “Say no to Dengue”. Dengue is a serious health issue in Sri Lanka where from time to time Dengue fever irrupts as an epidemic creating a major health problem in the society. The deaths caused by Dengue also an alarming problem that required national and international attention. Hemas Hospitals joined hands with National Dengue Prevention unit of the Health ministry of Sri Lanka in creating a Facebook page under the name “Dengue Epa”. Through this initiative awareness is created on preventing the spread of Dengue as well as identifying and treating Dengue disease.
